Tax Minute Update: Expanding Resources for Small Business Owners

This Tax Minute is an update on the expanding direction of the Tax Minute and what we are focusing on next as we continue providing timely tax updates for business owners to use in their personal and business finances each month. We are expanding our focus this year to make more tax resources available.

As part of that focus, the Tax Minute will be shifting to a monthly cadence while we continue building out additional resources for small business owners on the Tax Minute Podcast website.

This allows us to focus on expanding what is available to you, while continuing to provide the same short, focused insights you have come to expect from the Tax Minute.

All current and previous Tax Minute episodes are available on our website in both text and audio format, so you can find topics and review information in the format that works best for you.

In addition to that, we will continue building out the website as a resource hub, along with a monthly tax compliance email focused on what to work on throughout the year.

Our goal is to make it easier to access information when you need it and to have clear guidance as you run your business.

Tax Minute will continue to provide the short, focused content you have come to know and rely on, just in a format that better aligns with everything we are building to support small business owners.

So, going forward, you can expect the Tax Minute as a monthly update, alongside continued expansion of resources on the Tax Minute Podcast website.

Each month, I share a clear, bite-sized tax insight straight from my continuing education so you can stay informed without sifting through tax changes.

Next month, we begin discussing Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).

Thanks for reading,

Brandy Sparkman, EA

I’ll keep learning so you can stay focused on what you do best.
